Dr. Raj Patel
DMD
Dr. Raj Patel grew up in Panama City Beach, Florida. He went to J.R. Arnold High school, Go Marlins! Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Business administration, he then went on to earn his Doctorate at LECOM school of Dental Medicine in Bradenton.
Dr. Patel loves practicing dentistry and improving the health, function, and appearance of his patients. He wants to make sure everyone who enters the office feels comfortable and everyone who leaves the office leaves happy. Dr. Patel believes in treating each patient as if they’re part of his family and wants to ensure that each patient receives enough attention, compassion, and high quality care. Dr. Patel’s priority is to ensure that the patient has the most comfortable experience possible when they’re at the dental office.
Dr. Patel loves sports (huge fan of Boston sports) and being outdoors. When he’s not in the office you can catch him playing basketball or tennis. Dr. Patel also loves hanging out with friends, watching movies, having game nights and being around his bengal cats Major and Siren.
Dr. Yassar Al-Fatlawi
DMD
Dr. Yassar grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and graduated from Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then moved to Bradenton, Florida to attend LECOM School of Dental Medicine and obtain her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. She went on to practice dentistry in Jacksonville, FL and has since moved to Destin, FL to continue her practice while also being closer to family.
As an artist, Dr. Yassar knew she wanted to put her talents to good use, but she also has a passion for science and healthcare. Conveniently, dentistry is the perfect mix of both! Dr. Yassar has been a competitive artist since childhood, which has additionally helped her excel through dental school and in dental practice. While her medium outside of dentistry is unlimited, she enjoys acrylic paint and prisma-colored pencils the most. Her other hobbies include hiking, roller-blading, board games, and karaoke!
Dr. Yassar loves dentistry because not only can she contribute to a patient’s health and function, but it allows her to empower confidence in patients through their dental appearance. Dentistry gives Dr. Yassar the opportunity to practice her art while also meeting new people whom she can learn from in order to continue improving herself. Dr. Yassar wants her patients to look forward to returning to the dentist just as much as she looks forward to seeing them.
